Franklin's Luke Guth taken in 19th round, No. 577 overall; one of five Vanderbilt players picked. He signed July 30 for $150,000.

The Cubs drafted 21 players, including 16 pitchers. Guth, who turned 22 in June, was one of 14 right-handers taken. It is assumed he will sign since he entered the transfer portal and hasn't committed anywhere. He was the Cubs' next-to-last pick.He had been assigned June 30 to the Mahoning Valley, appearing in one game for the Scrappers.
